Roy Marsden
Over the last 45 years Roy Marsden, artist and educator, has continued to respond to his subject matter through a variety of media. Since leaving the Royal College of Art he has maintained an exhibition history taking in major and lower profile galleries accross Great Britain, and is represented in private collections in America and Europe.
BBC2 and HTV have both shown documentaries highlighting his work. Recent projects dealt with portraiture, fusing Victorian values with modern technology, and graphically observed figures on the beach at Tenby.
His current interests focus on art as a product, visual wallpaper and the steady erosion of Welsh heritage and wildlife through unsympathetic rural development and practises.
